Life is boring
REALLY boring
Came up with a fever today
So I'm stuck at home the whole day
Did not get to go for the top-of-the-table floorball clash with Team Squirrels
Hamzah went though
Clement had gone to Malaysia
Haziq and Hafidzhin has Dikir
So Hamzah said that it was pretty much like 14 people
That's little
Hamzah played for 2 lines
That's what he said
And we still managed to win 4-3
Congrats guys!
Wish I were there
But fate would not let it be so

Been constantly going to novusaum.com for the floorball results
But lately they have been slacking
Maybe coz their predictions of us finishing last was WAY off
So they too embarassed to embarass themselves even further
Haha
Just a theory

I read Haziq's blog
He said that his mother complained that he did not have any leadership positions
(before Dikir came about)
It got me wondering
Do you really need to have a leadership position to have leadership skills and be there for your team or CCA or school or whatever?
Well, Haziq, I can remember people like you and Kyle being an integral part of 2G last year
When we had that class chalet
And people like you and Kyle were helping Wei Jian all that
And the end of year video
It just shows that you don't have to be a leader to have leadership skills
Consider Manchester United
Fergie was desperate not to let Queiroz go
But Queiroz seemed so insignificant
Right?
WRONG!
He was helping Fergie pull the strings at the club even though it did not appear so
It was not a coincidence that when he returned from Real Madrid, Manchester United started winning trophies
That's because even though he was not at the helm, he had LEADERSHIP QUALITIES
Yeah, some people like myself prefer to stay away from the spotlight
I chose not to become a red shirt and I stayed away from responsibilities such as monitors and prefects
But I still acted like a red shirt at school events
I can still remember Hafidzhin and Luqman's faces went I sat next to them and cheered on VS like some crazy guy in the soccer B Div final
Yeah, the one that we lost 0-4
And now, in 3H,
People like me, Yong Jie and Bernard are helping Jun Rong pull the strings in the class
And in group projects,
I always stay away from becoming the leader,
But I end up doing the most important part of the project
Like the English debate,
I prepared the cue cards (except for Jing Qun, sorry about that JQ!)
And in the Chem project,
I combined all our videos together
And took damn long to perfect the video,
Especialy the Introduction,
You know, the Powerpuff Girls thingy,
It took a hell lot of time]

So,
Yeah, that's it
Moral of the story: You DON'T have to be a leader to have leadership skills. Just be yourself

And, Haziq, about the father-guitar thingy, don't take it too hard
Maybe your father never tasted the feeling of playing the guitar
My father did not have any problems with me or my brother start playing the guitar
Coz he himself played guitar last time
He had his own band!
And he stuffed his his electric guitar somewhere in the house....

Moment of the day to highlight:
Considering that I was sick,
And did not leave my house all day,
The only thing to highlight was
Playing my PSP the whole day
I swear,
I think I clocked like 7 hours
Maybe more
