But today, it happened to me
A Miracle
Which was totally unexpected

It was in our last floorball league match of the season
Against TP Wolves
If you were 1-5 down with 8 minutes to go,
You would naturally feel
Disheartened,
Disappointed,
Totally given up

But then,
We scored a goal
And another one,
And another one,
3 goals in the space of 7 minutes
It was 4-5
When we had made it 3-5,
I asked myself whether the unthinkable, a miracle, will happen

4-5 down with 1 minute to go
Then,
When the clock read:
59 min 20s
We scored a goal
Celebrated by swarming the court
59 min 58s
Melvin scored the winning goal
Sparking scenes of jubilation
From the Victoria Skools Floorball bench
It was totally unexpected
2 goals in the final 40s
To turn a loss into a win
2s before the final whistle,
Came the winning goal
Unbelievable

Truthfully,
The thought of a loss never crossed our mind
We focused on getting a goal
One by one
And the effort we put in
Was tremendous
Spectators who watched were bewildered
It was comeback floorball at it's very best
But I come to wonder,
Was it really a miracle?
It was us who played the match,
It was us who put in the effort,
It was us who who never gave up,
It was us who displayed grit and determination,
Which led me to think,
This was not a miracle
This is the most powerful display of Victorian Spirit I have ever seen

Played against RP Spartans today
At RP
Republic Polytechnic
Was a classic

We scored first
They equalised
They took the lead
We equalised
We took the lead

In the end,
It was a 3-3 draw
But a game we should have won
Fadzly scored twice
And Afiq got our third
With a wonder goal
From the halfway line
Into the top corner

If we had won,
We would have needed just a draw in the last game
To secure the title
But we drew
And if Team Squirrels won this week's match,
There would be 3 teams at the top of the table with 25 points-
Victoria Skools
RP Spartans
Team Squirrels
We are leading by virtue of goal difference
Ours is 3 better than RP Spartans
We need to win big next week against TP Wolves
And hope that RP Spartans does not win as big as we do
Same goes for Team Squirrels

Today's Chem was one of the most silent class of recent weeks

The class will be like damn noisy

It was the first theory lesson since Lyana returned
She commanded TOTAL attention
And her sense of humour is still there(:

And Yong Jie was NOT sleeping(First time)
Only Lyana's voice can be heard

Just glad that Lyana is back
She teaches really well

Lyana and Ernie are the best teachers in VS

We played "tennis" during recess
At the back of our class

But the fun was still there!

In which the HML group was split

Today was a real life test for me
Coz I had to bear with my thirst for like 10 hours
Coz I'm fasting

Ran 800m for PE today
Run this week,
Next week can play soccer
So I gave it my all

Missed my target of 2min 20s

Coz fastest of the day
Partly because Anu ran did not give 100% I think
Coz we ran in separate groups
And the closest competitor, Gan, in that group,
Was like 50m behind when Anu finished
So I guess he saw that he was owning everbody

But I think if both of us run together, we can both go under 2min 20s
Coz we would have pushed each other all the way

Watched the National Science Challenge just now
The first time,
They were tested with a question to see who would start first
They had to unscramble a word with its letters rearranged
I was literally shouting at the TV set
"Positive! The answer is positive!"
Right after one look.
But the schools were kind of slow
VS took quite long
Was 3rd out of the 4 schools
And, yes, the answer is "positive"

Then they had to pick a subject
And answer questions on it
Biology,
Physics,
Chemistry,
Applied Science(what the hell is that?!?!),
And Mathematics
River Valley chose Chemistry
And all 3 questions were FREAKING EASY!
VS chose Physics
Got one question right
One school chose Mathematics
And its not really calculations, like I hoped for
I did not know that the name for the division sign is Ovalus(Or whatever the spelling is)

Apart from that I was shut up the whole show
Coz they seem to be talking a different language from English,
Called ADVANCE SCIENCE
I was pretty inpressed with VS's performance in the presentation round
Nice!
Really!
And VS were pipped to 2nd place in the last round
The top team had 25 points
2nd team was 23 points
And VS 22 points
The last team sucked
It was DAMN close!
Could even have gotten 1st!

But it was still a good try!

Playman summer games is the latest trend in my class
During recess,
Hassan, Yusof, Arshad and I will play multiplayer

I always finish last or 2nd last
Coz I only got the game yesterday(:

I realised that I could actually understand Biology if I actually payed attention in class,
Something which I have not really been doing for the whole year,
Which kind of explains my bad Biology grades:)

Had the floorball match against Eldorado today
We won 12-2
But the game was
HOT and INTENSE!
But first, let me tell you how I fared
I'm quite disappointed with myself
Should have scored a goal
Had 2 one-on-ones
The first one, took it past the keeper
But the defender came barging into me
Should have shot first time......
After that hard work from Haseef
The second one, the opponent literally gifted the ball to me
Shot too early, I guess
On target
But their keeper saved,
But I should have done better
Hafidzhin scored a goal though
After nice work by Akmal

Now you left 2 certain Sec 3 Victorians in the "no goals club"

Don't worry
I predicted that Haziq will score his first Div 2 goal on 13th September, Saturday against SMU hunters in the 9th minute of the 3rd period

But there are only 3 games left
About the match,
Things flared up in the 3rd period
I was busy screening their keeper,
And Haseef was tussling with an opponent in the corner
Haseef nudged him
And he fell over the boards
He stood up and raised his fist and went to Haseef
He was about to punch Haseef,
But his teammates stopped him
He was shouting, "Come here ah!"
But Haseef just walked away
There were some tussling
And in the end, the referee gave red cards to both Haseef and the other guy
Then some other guy from the opponent's team
Shouted,"Fuck You!" and pointed his middle finger towards the referee
He also got sent off.....
So, from 5 on 5,
It became 4 on 3, For a couple of minutes
But in the end, we managed to win though
But I was feeling damn thirsty afterwards
My lips cracked as it was too dry
But I'm okay with that I guess

Afterwards, went to break fast
At my grandmother's house
The food was nice
The drink was nicer(naturally)
Then I fell asleep there
Too tired I guess

Haziq came late for the match
REALLY late
It was already in the second period when he arrived
Well, imagine Petr Cech arriving at Old Trafford in the 55th minute
For a crunch match against Manchester United
Usually,
Chelsea would have been down 3-0 by then
Coz Cech is the only reason why Manchester United find it hard to beat a rubbish team
But, fortunately,
We were already leading the opponents by then
Coz people like him, me, Hafidzhin and Hamzah
Are kind of fringe players
And I don't really consider Clement a fringe player
Coz he's first choice for line 2 beside Haseef in defence
